Parables from the Secret Place.

“For the LORD gives wisdom; out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.”
(Proverbs 2:6-7)

It was a cold winter morning. I was waiting upon the Lord in prayer and supplication with regards to His church in India and to the nations of the world. His majestic presence filled the entire room. And the Lord spoke, “With what can I compare the people of my church and its leadership to?”

Parable 1:

A master once owned vast hectors of vineyards🍇. He appointed fine workers👳 according to their talents and capabilities and assigned each one a specific territory to work‍ in. It so happened one day, plant fungus🍃 began to develop over a particular part of a territory assigned to one of the workers. A worker👷 of a neighbouring territory who was good at dealing with the fungus notices it and alarms his fellow comrade, “Brother, there’s fungus growing on your vines. I’m good at dealing with it. Shall I intervene and help if you don’t mind?”🙁
His fellow comrade refused saying, “Hasn’t our master assigned each one of us our own territory to work in? I’ll handle it myself. You take care of yours and I’ll take care of mine.”😒
Eventually, the fungus grew and affected a major portion of that territory. And the yield of the fruits was very poor.👎
After many days there came a time when the workers had to present themselves before their master.✅
The master praised and rewarded🎁 each worker according to the work they did.
The master analysed the situation of the affected territory🔍 and asked the worker, “Why didn’t you consider the help your fellow mate was offering you?”. He replied, “Master, haven’t you assigned us our own territories to work in? Look, I have harvested the fruits of what you assigned to me.”🍇
The master replied, “You foolish man, don’t you know that every vine🌱 in this vast field belongs to me? I would have rewarded you🎁 with an equal share over the fruits produced. But you’ve done a foolish thing. Even the little that you have will be taken away from you”🌀. He called his other servants and said, “Strip him off of everything that I gave him and give it to the former one👳 who was willing to help. Cast him out of this land🤺. He shall not be a partaker of any good I had in in store for him.”

Parable 2:

A beautiful couple👫 were once having a lovely walk on a street. While walking, they happened to pass by a jewellery shop.💍 A beautiful diamond necklace💠 behind the glass door catches the eye of the young lady.👀 She paused for a fleeting moment & sees the beautiful diamond necklace💠 kept for show behind the glass door, and in a very soft whisper she was like- “Waaawww… What a beauty!!”.😮 The husband notices her👀 and was like, “Hey, what’s the matter? Come on, let’s go.” And they continued walking.👫
Not many days later, there comes the day of their wedding anniversary.🎉 The husband takes his wife out for a candlelight dinner.🍽️ While they were at the table, he slowly handed her a red velvet box.🎁 She carefully opens the box and to her surprise, it was the diamond necklace!💠
Astonished, she asked, “Why did you get this? This is worth 11 months of your wages”.💰 He replied, “The other day while we were having a walk, we happened to pass by a jewelry shop. I noticed your gaze👀 at the diamond necklace and heard your quiet whisper💬 even though you felt like no one had seen or heard you. I then thought of surprising you with this gift on our wedding anniversary.” 🎁

Parable 3:

The master replied, “You selfish man, don’t you know that every vine🌱 in this vast field belongs to me as well? I would have rewarded you🎁 with an equal share over the fruits produced. But you’ve done a foolish thing. Even the little that you have will be taken away from you”🌀. He called his other servants and said, “Strip him off of everything that I gave him and give it to the former one👳 who doesn’t have much. Cast him out of this land🤺. He shall not be a partaker of any good I had in store for him.”

Parable 4:

The wife replied, “Honey, I want you to get me that necklace now!”😩
The husband replied, “We’ll talk about that later sweetheart.”🤔
She protested, “What kind of a husband are you? Look at one of my friend’s husband. He gifted her a beautiful diamond one💎 on their wedding anniversary! But you… You don’t even care about your wife’s desires!”😫😡
The husband angrily replied, “Will you please stop!?”😠
The wife, “Or get me a gold or silver ring instead!”😫
The upset husband replied, “OK FINE!!”😠
They enter the jewelry shop, the husband swipes his credit card and gets her a gold ring. “Thank you so much sweetheart!” the wife reacted.😚
On their way out, the husband pondered in his heart, “I was planning to gift her a diamond-studded gold necklace💠🏅 with a surprise trip abroad✈️🌎 on our wedding anniversary the following month. If she’s happy with this little gold ring, so be it.” 😒

Those who have ears, let them hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the churches.
