The Lord laid something in my heart💘 this evening, I thought I’ll share with you’ll. If it blesses you in some way, give God the glory. 
Many a time, we run after anointings💫… We run after impartations… we run after giftings🎁… we run after prophecies. We take the front seats in church or in prayer meetings when we are told that a man of God👨🔬 who moves in the prophetic or in the supernatural💥 is coming over. We do things pre-maturely. God foreknew David👀 even before he was anointed king. God foreknew Elisha👀 even before he was anointed prophet. God foreknew Nathaniel👀 even while he was sitting under the fig tree. And the Bible gives you tones of examples like that📖. They never ran after prophets or the men of God during their times. They were only mere men who were righteous✅, walking in the fear of God and faithfully doing what they were supposed to do😇. And one day without any notice all of a sudden the Lord surprises them🎉, anoints them🎊 and takes them to another level👑. In fact the Lord even sent prophets miles and miles searching for them🏃♂️. Running pre-maturely will only cause discouragements👎.
Compromising on things will only cause delays💨. Our God is the God of times and seasons⏳. That is why there are times even when a prophet or any other man of God happens to visit your congregation, he doesn’t call you out or prophesies over you or does anything big concerning you. Just like Joseph, just like David, God desires you to spend time with Him👬 and learn from Him dwelling in the secret place💞, before the time of your manifestation. Many a time we grumble saying Lord why things aren’t working out the way it was prophesied📢 and put the blame on the man of God. Perhaps it wasn’t the man of God. 
Perhaps you missed your season. Perhaps the Lord didn’t allow you to have a taste of it👀 simply because your not ready for it. If it were not so, the very same environment/destiny that you would be introduced to, would have killed you🚫. In the Old Testament, there were some people who tried running into the promised land pre-maturely🏃♂️ before their time and they died. They weren’t ready for the challenges they would face there👊.
With the same tongue we say “God is in control of my life” and with the same tongue we say, “The devil is responsible”😈 when things don’t seem right. Our God is the God of times and seasons⏳. (Ecc. chapter 3). When you are in your season, people will be running after you🏃♂️ out of no where. When you are in your season, there will be favour👑. There will be grace. You will be handpicked and will wonder how come God has been so good to me🌟. Things will start working out in ways you never imagined about. You will be amazed at the things that come your way.🎁🎀🎉🎊
Ask yourself these questions before you want God to take you to the next level or your promised land:
Have I been faithful in my walk with Him❓
Am I walking in submission and in obedience❓
Have I been a good steward of what He bestowed on me❓
Do I spend time with Him just because I want something from Him❓ Do I walk in Holiness❓
Do my actions speak louder than my words❓
